In a somber turn of events, Yahuza Umar Labbo, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Kirikasamma Local Government election in Jigawa State, has passed away.

Labbo, who was 55, succumbed to a brief illness, leaving behind a family of three wives and fifteen children.

The news of his death was confirmed by the state party chairman, Aminu Gumel.

Jigawa State Governor Umar Namadi extended his condolences to Labbo’s family and the broader Muslim community, offering prayers for the deceased and strength for the bereaved family.
