Justice Kudirat Olatokunbo Kekere-Ekun, after being sworn in as the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has listed her agenda for the judiciary.

As reported by Tribune Online, President Tinubu administered the oath to Justice Kekere-Ekun at approximately 11:38 a.m. at the State House in Abuja. She became the second female jurist to serve as Chief Justice of Nigeria, following Justice Aloma Mariam Mukhtar, who held the position from July 2012 to November 2014.

Justice Kekere-Ekun will serve in an acting capacity until her confirmation by the Senate.

Key figures, including Senate President Godswill Akpabio, former Chief Justice of Nigeria Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, and other prominent members of the judiciary attended the swearing-in ceremony. (Nigerian Tribune)
