Multiple accidents on Kara Bridge along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway
Several persons have sustained injuries in a multiple auto accident on Kara Bridge, along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
According to an eyewitness, the accident happened at about 6.45 p.m., outward Lagos. It involved a Lexus SUV, two trucks and two commercial buses. 0 / 1:00
The drivers were said to be on top speed when the incident happened.
At press time, it could not be confirmed if there were casualties. But the injured are currently being attended to by medics.
The accident led to traffic gridlock, as the vehicles involved were scattered along the highway, thereby blocking vehicular movement.(Vanguard)
