The judgment addressed a leadership dispute between the late Abdulkadir Salam, former LP chair, and a group led by Salisu Mohammed, who declared himself the national caretaker chair.

Judge Gabriel Kolawole mandated an “inclusive” national convention to resolve the conflict.
