
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has denied reports of Nigerians being required to have a $10,000 bank balance and pay an N640,000 application fee to obtain a visa.
Daily Sun reported that the federal government announced that Nigerians can now obtain UAE visas following an agreement reached with the foreign nation.
The Minister of Information, Mohammed Idris, who disclosed that development, urged those interested to get updates on the UAE visa conditions fromdocumentverificationhub.ae.
In a new twist, The Cable reports that UAEs Department of Economy and Tourism has denied links with the DV hub website, saying that it is not affiliated with them.
Speaking on the issue, Dubais General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFAD) shared, You will need a personal photo and a copy of your passport which must not have less than six months validity.
A tourist visa costs about 200-300 dirhams (N60,000 “ 90,000) depending on the stay.
