A devastating incident occurred, Monday, July 15, 2024, in Sapele, Delta State, as a middle-aged man, identified as Mr. Ezekiel Ajolor, tragically lost his life at his welding workshop.

According to eyewitnesses who spoke to newsmen, Mr. Ajolor was working at his workshop, located along Ogorode by Benin Road junction before Vifa Church, when he suddenly slumped and fell to the ground around 3pm. His colleagues and passersby rushed him to a nearby hospital, where he later died.

The cause of death Is still unknown, but sources close to the family revealed that Mr. Ajolor had been complaining of chest pains and fatigue earlier in the day. Despite his condition, he had insisted on continuing his work, as he had a deadline to meet.

Mr. Ajolor’s death has sent shockwaves through the area, where he was well-known and respected for his exceptional welding skills. Friends, family members, and colleagues gathered at his workshop and residence to pay their respects and offer condolences.
