The Governor of Abia State, Dr Alex Otti, at the invitation of his Rivers State counterpart, Siminalayi Fubara, commissioned Aleto-Ogale-Ebubu-Eteo 10.98km road in Eleme Local Government of Rivers State on Tuesday, May 14, 2024.

Otti, on his official X handle @alexottiofr, commended Fubara for embarking on vital infrastructure, describing his dedication to the welfare of Eleme people as well as development of the state as exemplary.

He wrote: “Today, I was graciously invited by my brother and compatriot, His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Rivers State, Governor Siminalayi Fubara, to the commissioning ceremony of the Aleto-Ogale-Ebubu-Eteo 10.98km road in Eleme Local Government.

“I am deeply enamoured and honoured by the recognition from my esteemed colleague to commission this road project. Governor Fubara's leadership in embarking on this vital infrastructure project is commendable. His dedication to the welfare of the Eleme people and the development of Rivers State is exemplary. The road serves as a bypass to the East-West Road, easing the journey for many commuters who ply this route.”

While urging the people of Rivers State to continue supporting Fubara, the Abia State Governor further described the road project as a “dress rehearsal” of democracy's dividends that will pave the way for even greater achievements.

“Leadership is about service, and true service is to the majority. Our principle over the years has been rooted in this, and it is a journey that has brought us to where we are today.

“To the people of Rivers State, what you witness today is just the beginning. This is a “dress rehearsal” of democracy dividends that will pave the way for even greater achievements. I urge you all to continue supporting Governor Fubara as he strives to serve you with unwavering dedication,” he added.
