Prophet Solomon Alao
The Supreme Head, Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria, Prophet Solomon Alao, has called on Politicians especially Governors not to derive pleasure in abandoning projects to start new ones describing it as a waste of public funds.
Prophet Alao in his sermon delivered at the thanksgiving service of late Spiritual Father of Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Prophet Samuel Adefila Abidoye at Galilee, Orile Igbon, Oyo state observed that most states are littered with abandoned projects which if completed would have transformed most of these states into enviable ones.
He observed that the late Spiritual Father, Prophet Abidoye built on the existing legacies of his predecessors to take the Church to an enviable level.
“I want to challenge the politicians especially the Governors to stop abandoning projects met on ground for new ones. It is better to complete the ongoing projects before embarking on new ones to ensure continuity,” he remarked.
Prophet Alao also called on Christians to go into partisan politics instead of blaming those in power of non-performance and embezzlement.
“Politics is not a dirty game. It is the mind set an individual has about it. If it is dirty to you as a Christian, then put your head into it, beam your searchlight into the dark areas and clean them up.
“Nigeria is waiting for you to make a difference and as Christians, you can even make the difference not only in politics but right from your homes, offices, markets and anywhere you find yourselves,” he said.
Alao challenged members of the fold to build strongly on the solid structures and good legacies left behind by the late Spiritual Father before his demise.
Prophet Abidoye, died in December, 2023 at the age of 103 and was buried at Galilee land yesterday with pump and pageantry which lasted for one week.
