The leadership of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in Nasarawa State has implored President Bola Tinubu to urgently reverse fuel subsidy removal policy to in order to put an end to hunger and hardship being faced by Nigerians as well as tackle insecurity.

The NLC Chairman In the state, Comrade Isma’ila Ayuba Okoh, who made the callwhile addressing hundreds of workers at the Abdullahi Adamu Labour HouseMakurdi road Lafia, the state capital, on Wednesday as NLC suspended itstwo day protest.

According to him, “Hunger is in the Land. Put an end to the economic hardship. Fix the Nation’s refineries. Save the Naira from depression. Nigerians are dying. Things in Nigeria are not moving well due to poor policies”.

Comrade Okoh lamented that workers and other Nigerians are are in a critical situation where life has become unbearable and u conducive for living; added that NLC would not fold its handseeing Nigerian workers suffering due to devastating hunger.

He further described the present predicament as a result ofpoor quality leadership in Nigeria and urged the Federal government to look into ways of revamping the economic.

Also speaking in an interview with newsmen, the state chairman of NUJ comrade Mohammed Alkali called on president Tinubu to urgently go back to the drawing board by reversing the decision on fuel subsidy removal which he said has triggered hardship to Nigerians .

“People are dying. Cost of living is high. Nigerians are not happy with the administration,” He added.
