Mr. Ishaya Idi, the President, Kaduna Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture says the 45^thKaduna international trade fair will witness a high number of participants, stakeholders and patrons.

The president made the disclosure at the opening ceremony of the trade fair at the Kaduna International Trade Investment Centre, Rigachikun-Kaduna.

The theme for the 45th Edition of the trade fair is “Sustaining Economic Recovery through Deepening Local Content Value Chain”.

Idi said that in spite the global economic challenges, the chamber was encouraged by the number of participants drawing from serious investors and manufacturers from all parts of the world.

He explained that the theme of the fair was chosen to complement the Federal Government’s efforts to encourage the implementation and deepening of local content initiatives.

“We have been challenged by the dire economic circumstances and there is the need for us all to think of new strategies to reposition our chamber and the trade fair.

“In this regard, the carefully chosen theme is made to support the federal government in its current effort to revamp the nation’s economy through embracing self-sufficiency anchored on productive capacity”,he said.

While speaking the President, Nigeria Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Dele Kelvin, said the chamber was steadfastly championing the interest of the business community.

Represented by Dr Alimi Bello, the president added that the Kaduna trade fair brought together a diverse array of stakeholders to explore opportunities, form strategic partnership to showcase Nigerian products and services.

He stated that the fair presented an unparalleled opportunity to rethink strategies, build more robust supply chains and embrace digital transformation to enhance business.

He commended the resilience by the exhibitors and entrepreneurs, innovation and unwavering dedication to excellence, saying, “their participation is a testimony to the vibrancy and potential of the economy.” (NAN)
