The Director of the Kwara State Fire Service, Prince John Falade, has stressed the need for various Communities to cooperate with law enforcement agencies and Fire Service to ensure the safety of lives and properties in the country.
Prince Falade who stated that on Saturday during his sensitization visit to the Alangua of Reke Community, Alhaji Razaq Giwa Afolabi, expressed his delight at the community and also raised awareness about fire safety precautions, delivering a lecture to the community.
The Director acknowledged the collective efforts of the community members and commended their commitment to safety measures.
He stressed the importance of proactive measures in preventing fire disasters and ensuring the well-being of the community.
In response, the Ala-angua of Reke Community, Alhaji Razaq Giwa Afolabi, thanked the director for the commendation and encouraged him to continue to prioritize the safety of the people of Reke and the State at large.
The monarch emphasized the significance of ongoing efforts in minimizing the remarkable record of zero fire disasters in the Reke Community.
