Nasarawa PDP 2023 Guber Candidate Ombugadu

The 2023 guber candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Nasarawa State, Dr. Emmanuel David Ombugadu, has announced free National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) enrollment for 13,000 persons across the 13 local government areas of the state.
Umbugadu stated this during a home-coming and Thanksgiving, organised for himbyPDP at his residence, Unity House, in Akwanga, Nasarawa State. He said that the initiative is aimed at ameliorating the sufferings of the people of Nasarawa State and would continue to be accorded priority attention whether he is in government or not.
"Whether in government or not, I will continue to support healthcare, other initiatives through private participation in my own little way of giving back to the people," he said.
"Healthcare accessibility and support for the well-being of the less privileged persons across the 13 local government of the state will remain my priority. I'm pleased to announce that a cheque of N195 million for a health insurance initiative is here with me and I am going to do a symbolic presentation to NHIS", the 2023 embattled PDP guber candidate declared.
"I want to use this occasion to expressed gratitude to the people of Nasarawa State for their unwavering support during and after electionup to the Supreme Court. The commitment of my supporters and the challenges encountered during the electoral contest is what I will not forget in a hurry," he added
According to our him, "My returning home today is to thank my people for the support showed to me during and after the governorship election. My desire,dreamand dedication to seeing Nasarawa State come to frictionmust be realized resolutely as I remainsteadfast to pursue transformative change and progress withinNasarawa and the country".
Earlier,Director General of theOmbugadu Campaign Counciland former Minister of Information, Labaran Maku, his firm belief in PDP.
"Everybody knows we won the election, but the unity, peace and progress of the state remain our established factor among stakeholders in Nasarawa state affirming the legitimacy of the party in the state", Maku declared.
