Super Eagles’ group opponent, Chad has withdrawn from the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers citing financial constraints.
The team were scheduled to take on Tanzania in the return leg of the qualifier on March 28 in Dar Es Salaam.
Chad were sitting at the bottom of Group G with no point from three losses to Egypt, Nigeria and Tanzania.
These results will therefore be nullified according to CAF rules and regulations.
This, leaves table leaders Egypt with four points, ahead of Nigeria in second with two and Tanzania with one.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) is yet to react to the recent development. (Channels TV)
