Egbin Power station
The Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC), said residents residing in Mowe, Ibafo, Abeokuta and others are experiencing power outages, due to a drop in power generation from Egbin Power Plc.
In a statement obtained from its X handle, the company stated: “Due to a drop in generation from Egbin generation station, customers in the following communities; Sango, Ota, Ilaro, Ayetoro, Imeko, Mowe, Ibafo, Magboro, Abeokuta metropolis and environs are experiencing power outages.”

The distribution company said its technical team was working with relevant stakeholders to ensure the restoration of the power supply, even as it apologised for the inconvenience.
