Niger state Police spokesman, Wasiu Abiodun
A lady, Amina Muktar, a resident of Bosso Estate in Minna, Niger State, who was declared missing by the police, has been found.
The police had declared her missing on Monday and appealed to members of the public with information about her whereabouts to contact the nearest police station.
A police source that was contacted byPUNCH Online on Wednesday disclosed that Muktar was found in an orphanage and she has been reunited with her family.
The source said It was nota case of a missing person but she had a misunderstanding with her family members and decided to take refuge in an orphanage.
“Amina Muktar has been found. We found her in an orphanage where she went to take refuge.
“She told us that she had a misunderstanding with her family members and so she left the house and decided to take refuge in the orphanage,” the police source said.
Contacted, the command’s spokesman, Wasiu Abiodun, confirmed that Muktar had been found in a Minna orphanage
“I want to confirm that Amina Muktar has been found in a Minna orphanage. We thank all for their concern,” he said. (The PUNCH)
