Governor Uzodinma
The Convener/Facilitator of Grow Orlu Project, Prince Nixon Okwara, has called on those masquerading as Governor Hope Uzodinma's staunch supporters in Lagos and other places outside Igboland to come home and campaign for the re-election of the Governor on Saturday.
Prince Okwara who came all the way from the United Kingdom and have been traversing the length and breadth of Imo State, mobilizing votes for the Governor, said that it was high time those who have been organizing solidarity and endorsement programmes in Lagos came home.
According to him, "it is time for those who were organizing endorsement programmes for Uzodinma to turn their words into action," adding that the only way they can do it was to come home and campaign physically for him.
He said that Hope Uzodinma has been working tirelessly to bring positive change, as such, Imo indigenes in APC outside Igbo land should come home to support him.
His words: “As we approach the crucial election in Imo State, it is imperative that we should come together to show real solidarity and support for our governor. This is not the time for empty promises or waiting until after the election to rush and pose for pictures with him while sending congratulatory message. Let’s come home to Imo and actively participate in the electoral process .Your presence, involvement and dedication will make significant difference in securing a brighter future for our state. Let’s make our support tangible, visible and impactful. Imo deserves our commitment now, not just words on social media. Together we can ensure that our great state continues on the path of progress and development.”
According to Okwara, Ndi Imo should stand with the governor and work together to shape the future of Imo State, adding that it was time to make real difference and be the change that Imo and her people need.
