KRPC MD, Dr Mustapha Sugungun
By GARBA MUHAMMAD, Kaduna
Managing Director of the Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company (KRPC), Dr. Mustapha Sugungun, has restated the commitment of the company to the discharge of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to its host community.
Sugungun stated this at the KRPC joint community and stakeholders forum meeting in Kaduna, aimed at further strengthening relations with the company’s host community.
Represented by the manager business services of the company, Ahmed Said, the managing director said the Joint Community Relations Committee (JCRC) established by NNPCL’s corporate policy was basically responsible for conducting interactive sessions with leaders of host communities on a quarterly basis.
He said the meeting was an avenue for sharing information and ideas between KRPC management and host communities on issues of safety, security, dispute management, identifying and prioritizing development projects, medical outreach and other corporate social responsibility programmes for the benefit of host communities.
“As you are all aware, the KRPC is currently undergoing a quick fix maintenance service project with Daewoo Engineering and Construction Nigeria Limited. I am happy to state that KRPC and Daewoo have sustained the tempo of impacting positively on lives of the host community for economic prosperity through corporate social responsibility projects”, he added.
