The Chairman/CEO National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) , Alhaji Zikrullah Kunle Hassan, has called on Nigerian actors to continue to use their medium to educate and enlighten Nigerians especially Nigerian Pilgrims through their arts.

He stated this on Thursday when the Kannywood Action Forum led by Alhaji Ahmed Kaka, paid a Courtesy Visit on the NAHCON Management at the Hajj House, Abuja,

The Chairman expressed his believe that with their large audience especially in Northern Nigeria, their action or stories will go a long way to portray the positive image of the Country and also help to change the society positively.

Earlier in his address, the leader of the Delegation, Alhaji Ahmed Kaka congratulated the Commission on the successful completion of the 2023 Hajj despite the challenges.

He therefore, called for collaboration between the two organisations especially in the area of pilgrims mobilisation and extension using the social media platforms

Shafii Sani Mohammed, NAHCON Information & Publications Division, in a statement on the visit, also disclosed the forum's presentation of Humanitarian Award to Alhaji Nura Hassan Yakasai, Commissioner, PPMF, for his contribution in providing crucial assistance to the indigent in the society.

“Alhaji Yakasai who expressed his appreciation to the forum assured them of the Commission's preparedness to explore and collaborate with the Forum in the future”, the statement added.
