AGN President Emeka Rollas
The National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Chief Emeka Rollas-Ejezie, has declared that all practitioners in the movie industry should observe a mandatory rest day once in a week.
He identified Sunday as the mandatory rest day, noting that the rest would apply to all practitioners, including actors, producers, directors, as well as cameramen and women.
The reason, Ejezie explained in a statement issued on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, is the increasing rate of health issues and consequent death among Nolywood stakeholders.
