2015: PDM meets in Port Harcourt •Tonye Princewill plays host

Leaders of the South-South Zone of the Peoples Democratic Movement (PDM) have met in Port Harcourt, capital of Rivers State, as political groups across the country strategise for the forthcoming 2015 political battles.

The meeting was hosted by Prince Tonye Princewill, a political stalwart and a chieftain of both the PDM and the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who is the National Director of Organisation of PDM.

“They met to discuss how to move the Movement forward in the region,” Media Consultant, Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, told News Express.

One of the major component units of PDP, the PDM, according to Chief Eze, is “a national consciousness movement pioneered by late General Shehu Musa Yar’adua for the promotion of core ideals of democracy; sustenance of and support for peaceful co-existence among the diverse groups in the country; bridge building among the diverse segments of the country; promotion of good governance and sustainable development of Nigeria.”
