FRSC at an accident scene
A yet-to-be identified woman and her seven- year old son have been crushed to death along the Akure-Owo highway.
They were riding on a motorcycle when the accident occurred.
The motorcyclist was said to have been seriously injured.
The Federal Road Safety Corps, Ondo Sector Command, in a statement, said the accident occurred by the Federal Government Girls College, Akure.
It attributed cause of the accident to over speeding, which it said resulted to loss of control by the trailer driver.
The statement said the road was wet and dangerous and drivers to be careful as they plied the highways.
It said the dead were taken to the State Specialist Hospital, Akure morgue. (The Nation)
