A group, Njiko Igbo Forum, has tasked President Bola Tinubu to commence the rehabilitation of the abandoned Railway lines from Port Harcourt to Maiduguri.
The President of the group, Rev Okechukwu Obioha, made the call in a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Enugu.
Obioha said repairing the railway line would make the people of the zone to enjoy railway transportation like their counterpart in other zones of the country who had been making use of train for more than 20years.
He decried that no single traffic or movement was noticed and experienced along the Eastern Corridors, which he described as abysmal and discriminatory. (NAN)
