The suspects with the stolen goats
Men of Osun State Police Command have arrested two men, Naheem Segun and Suraju Isiaka for allegedly stealing 15 goats.
Policemen attached to Safer Highway Team intercepted the suspects along Osogbo-Ibadan road on their way to Lagos to sell the goats.
The suspects that they stole the goats in Osogbo and other towns in the state.
One of the suspects, Segun, said: “We came from Lagos, from Mile 12. We stole these goats between Gbongan and Ila. We were going back to Lagos to sell them when policemen arrested us.”
The Police Public Relations Officer for Osun State Police Command, Yemisi Opalola, said the suspects would be arraigned in court after diligent investigation.
