According to the Governor, “In our developing democracy, workers body should form the 4th tier of government and until this position is adopted by the employers and employees, it may be fairly difficult for both to constructively engage for the overall good of government and her people.”
He noted that workers welfare should be cardinal in the minds of government considering their strategic roles .
The Governor said his administration will offset 25 per cent of the N4.2 billion gratuity arrears in the month of May.
He thanked the workers for their partnership, love, prayers and cooperation in the last eight years.
