Executive Chairman, National Assembly Service Commission (NASC), Engr Ahmed Kadi Amchi, has commended the unusual support the Commission received from the National Assembly under the leadership of the Senate President, Dr Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan, in the last three years.
Amchi made the remark during a Thank-You-Visit to the Senate President on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at the National Assembly complex, adding that prioritising the welfare of workers through payment of regular/ backlog of salaries and salary arrears of staff of the commission.
The NASC Executive Chairman maintained that the construction of new office accommodation for the Commission in the premises of the National Assembly was a dream come true in the present dispensation.
He also praised the Senate Committee Chairman, Public Service Establishments of the Senate, Senator Ibrahim Shekarau, for his advisory roles and supports in the last three years, saying he was an asset to the commission in all areas.
He used the opportunity to reel out achievements of the Commission in the last three years under the leadership of Senator Lawan as the President of the Senate.
The NASC Chairman stated that the 9thNational Assembly under the leadership of Senator Lawan has improved staff productivity, leading to great achievements diring the years under review.
He thanked the Senate President for the unalloyed support and cooperation that led to the record breaking achievements of the 5thCommission.
