A Nigerian music sensation, Bowan Jovie, real name Jovie Ekwunife, has released a hit single titled “Mr Nigeria”.
The single, currently ruling the air waves, x-rays Nigerian politicians and how they are mis-ruling the country.
Bowan Jovie had in the past, collaborated with popular Nigerian musicians like M C Loph, Smarter Man, among others, under the name of Cranky Jovie.
He and Stanley Okorie also did some sound tracks for Nigerian home movies like Igodo, “Just Emission”, “Yellow Fever”, to mention just a few.
Speaking on the new single, Jovie said his new single hit was dedicated to encouraging voters to make the right choice in the forth-coming general elections.
According to him, Nigerian politicians have been taking the electorate for a ride by making fake promises.
He said that “for Nigeria, 2023 is now or never and if they fail to get it right, it might mark the end of the country.”
Speaking further, he said that with the situation of things in the country, everybody would realize that the change we were promised some years ago was a mere deception.
According to him, the same people that fooled Nigerians have repackaged their lies to dupe the masses again.
He said that Nigerian masses should look out for integrity, competence, soundness of mind and body when they want to vote in the February and March elections.
