Hajiya Jamila Muhammad Dahiru from Toro Local Government, a lecturer with Ahmadu Bello University

The Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammad, has sent the name of two nominees to Bauchi State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation as Commissioners and members of the Bauchi State Executive Council.
Presenting the Governor's message to the House addressed to the Speaker Rt. Hon. Abubakar Y Suleiman, during Thursday's plenary, Majority Leader of the House Hon. Tijjani Muhammad Aliyu explained that the nominees are:
1. Hajiya Jamila Muhammad Dahiru from Toro Local Government, a lecturer with Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria.
2. Hajiya Amina Muhammad Katagum from Zaki Local Government.
A statement by Abdul Ahmad Burra, Spokesperson to the Speaker, Bauchi State House of Assembly on Thursday, December 8, 2022, said the House has resolved to screen the nominees on Tuesday, December 13, 2022.
“The Majority Leader suggested that the nominees should appear before the Honourable House on Tuesday 13th December, 2022 for screening.
“He was seconded by the Minority Leader Hon. Bakoji Aliyu Bobbo,” the statement added.
