The National Commission for Refugees Migrants and Internally Displaced Person’s (NCFRMI) has organised a five-day training for selected farmers in Omala Local Government Area of Kogi State.
The training which began on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at Government Secondary School, Ogodu, November 29, 2022 is meant for 75 selected farmers across Omala local government is expected to run for five days.
The training is part of the Commission’s support to enable the farmers to key into operation go-back-to-farm, so as to boost food production in the agricultural sector in Nigeria.
At the end of the training participants would be provided with starter packs, insecticides, cash donations and food items to encourage them to go into various types of farming techniques and improve on their previous experiences.
Facilitators and resource persons, as well as staff of the Commission were on ground to monitor the training and other activities connected with the training.
