NPC DG Akor
The paramount ruler of Igala kingdom, HRM, Atta Igala, Matthew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche, Akpa 11, will confer on the Director General, National Productivity Center (NPC), Dr Kashim Akor, the honourary chieftaincy title of Omachi Atta Igala.
In a letter of notification of the conferment of the chieftaincy title personally signed by the Atta Igala, the Igala Kingdom Paramount Ruler said the NPC Director General, Dr Kashim Akor, would be conferred with “Omachi Atta Igala”, and thesalutation shall be “Wali”.
According to the letter, Akor would be honoured for his immense contributions to the socio-economic development of Igala land, Kogi State and Nigeria at large.
The NPC Director-General was at the forefront of both socio-economic, empowerment and entrepreneurial development of the people of Igala kingdom, and by extension, Kogi State and Nigeria at large, as a result of his idea of establishing a productive society where ordinary Nigerians would not only be gainfully employed, but to enhance self-realization and self-sustenance as the basis for an egalitarian society.
