The Anambra State Government has placed a disclaimer on 30 estates in Awka, the state capital, thus banning the sale of land in the affected estates.

A government circular dated November 4, 2022 and signed by the permanent secretary, Mr Ejike Godwin for Commissioner for Lands listed thirty estates which is within Awka and outside the state capital as, First choice, Afro villa estate Awka, Dubai Estate Awka, Prime city estate, Iyiagu estate, Grace Estate Iyiagu, Awka, God is too much estate, Isiagu, Awka, Genesis city Estate, Amansea, Quality choice estate, Awka, Brooklyn Estate, Awka and Barons court estate, Awka.

Others are, Oakland city estate, Nkwelle Ezunaka, phase 1and 2 land real Estate, Severity city estate, Aguleri, Anambra East Local Government Area of Anambra State, Daniel Jubilee estate, Nkwelle Ezunaka, Idochie layout estate, Awkuzu, Palm Garden estate, Enugwu-Agidi, Spring field Estate Awka, Olive homes estate, Awka, Liberty estate Awka, Crown city estate, Amansea.

The rest are, New Gen Estate, Nkwelle Ezunaka, All for Dee Estate, Nkwelle, Love Bros estate, Nkwelle Ezunaka, Freedom estate Awka, Fidelity Estate, Awka,Great Peoples estate, Umunya, Oyi LGA, Alulu layout estate, phases 1 and 2, Abata Nsugbe, Anambra East LGA.

As earlier reported by News Express while breaking the news on Saturday morning, members of the public are advised to refrain from any dealings in the said estates.

The release also called on owners of the Estates in their own interest to ensure that necessary approvals are obtained, saying that government will commence enforcement of the laws applicable to the Estates 35 Days after the date of the notice.
