Kaduna State Deputy Governor, Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe
By GARBA MUHAMMAD, Kaduna
Kaduna State Deputy Governor, Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, would lead an array of speakers and panelists at the 2022 Public Lecture and Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).
The theme of this year's event expected to hold on Saturday, 5th November, 2022, is “Politics in Policy Polarization: Implications Ahead of 2023 Elections and Beyond,” under the Chairmanship of Alh. Murtala Aliyu, a former Minister of Power and Steel and alsoSecretary-General, Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF).
The Chapter Chairman, Haruna Malami, while briefing journalists on Thursday in Kaduna ahead of the event said this year’s theme was chosen in the light of the alarming rate of policy reversals at all levels of government which frequently impedes the implementation of well-intended measures without recourse to the impact on sustainable development.
“Holding on Saturday, 5th November, 2022, at Sir Ahmadu Bello Foundation, opposite Murtala Mohammed Square, Kaduna, the event shall have in attendance, senior government officials, civil society organizations, academics, members of the business community, students and members of the general public.
“There shall also be award presentation to notable personalities who have distinguished themselves in their respective fields of endeavor,” he stated.
It could be recalled that last year, the Chapter’s AGM/Public Lecture, focused on insecurity in Northern Nigeria and it’s implication to the nation’s economy which was a ground breaker in preparation for the NIPR 2021 Citizen’s Summit on National Integration, Peace and Security
