A child of 10 miraculously vomited a plastic spoon he mistakenly swallowed when playing after having lunch.

The child identified as Omamie Okoduwa was said to have struggled with himself and the spoon stuck in his throat before vomiting it miraculously.

In her account of the incident, the mother, Mrs. Agatha Okoduwa, said her attention was drawn to the incident by her 12-year-old daughter who said she could not understand what Omamie was struggling with in his throat.

Mrs. Okoduwa said that when she noticed that her son was coughing as if something was stuck in his throat, the only thing she could remember was prayer as she anointed his head with olive oil and water and equally gave him some olive oil to drink.

The mother added that her son continued to struggle until all of a sudden he started vomiting blood and in the process, a plastic spoon came out of his mouth along with the blood.

The over-joyed mother said that until the spoon came out, she never knew it was spoon that was stuck in the throat of her son.

Mrs Okoduwa joyfully gave the testimony at Ebenezer Baptist Church on Sunday, October 10, 2022 at the commencement of the Church Annual Revival Service. (Source: Delta State News Bulletin)
