Coalition of North-Central bloggers, consultants and communication strategists has sent a message of congratulations to the United Nations Deputy Secretary-General, Ms Amina J. Mohammed, on her conferment of the national honor of Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON).

In a statement issued by the new body, the Protem Convener, Abubakar Yusuf, expressed delight over the nomination of UN DSG for the honour, saying that she has displayed her astute experienced and potentials at the global body.

He commended the efforts of Ms Amina J. Mohammed in the fight against socio-economic downturn, inequality that brought Nigeria into the comity of thriving nations through SDGs.

According to the release, in spite of her position not to blow her trumpet, she was already a cynosure of development since her days in the MDGs, Ministry of Environment and now the global body, stating her elevation was a thing of pride to the people of the North-Central States.

They promised to continue to show solidarity with all her humanitarian strides at the United Nations, nationally and locally.

Yusuf noted that the national honor of GCON was well deserved, while advising her to continue to do more for the betterment of average Nigerians at the comity of global gatherings
