The Director-General, National Productivity Center (NPC), Dr Kashim Akor, has been honoured with a chieftaincy title by the Olu of Ilaro and paramount ruler of Ilaro-Yewa land of Ogun State, Aleyeluwa Oba (Dr) Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle, in recognition of his contributions to the socio-economic development of the area.
In a letter of notification sent to Akor, signed by the President, Yewa Traditional Council and Rotational Chairman, Ogun State Council of Obas, Oba Asade Agunloye IV, said the title of Otunba Gbeluniyi of Ilaro is being bestowed on Akor in view of his “sterling qualities and contributions to the service of our people”.
The letter congratulated the new Otunba Gbeluniyi of Ilaro, informing him that his coronation would take place on November 26 this year.
