FHA MDCEO, Senator Gbenga Ashafa
By ABUBAKAR YUSUF
The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Federal Housing Authority (FHA), Senator Gbenga Ashafa, says the agency would not condone insecurity in its estates across the country.
Senator Ashafa made this remark on Wednesday in Abuja, during the commissioning of a Police post in one of its estates, MIXTA Africa at Expressive View Estates located in Lugbe, on the outskirt of Abuja, in partnership with BAM Projects and Properties.
He maintained that security of lives and property in its estate was guaranteed through a well-thought out arrangement to ensure a secured environment.
He said that inaugurating the Police post was an indication that for the FHA, security was a serious business at this point in time in Nigeria.
The Managing Director reassured security agencies, especially the Nigerian Police Force (NPF), stating the resolve to expand and synergise with other security outlets to ensure maximum security it its estates.
He commended the Head of Security of the Police in the area for his continued cooperation in managing the security of lives and property in its estates in about four locations.
Responding, the Federal Capital Territory Police Commissioner promised to continue to carry out the statutory duties of the Police which is securing not only lives and property, but guaranteeing peace and harmonious co-existence in its Estates.
