Dead cows
Three persons are feared dead in a ghastly auto crash involving a car and two cows along the popular Refinery road in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, on Saturday morning.
Witnesses said that the three occupants of a blue Toyota Camry were driving along the dual carriage road enroute Warri Refinery when their vehicle suddenly rammed into the two big cows on the highway.
It was gathered that the collision with the cows caused the car to veer off the road and it eventually crashed on the wall fence of the Nigerian Navy building.
The occupants of the badly damaged car were reportedly rushed to a nearby hospital by good Samaritans while the two lifeless cows were sighted lying dead at the scene.
Security officials including police and soldiers were on ground to forestall any break down of law and order as of the time of filing this report.
The police public relations officer for Delta State Command, Bright Edafe, could not be reached for comments on the incident. (The PUNCH)
