Pastor Tobi Adegboyega
As part of efforts to eradicate poverty and build economically independent citizens, the wealth creation campaign of Pastor Tobi Adegboyega has concluded plans to raise 100 millionaires by the end of 2022.
Adegboyega, a philanthropist and founder ofThe Nxtion Family, a London-based Pentecostal ministry,is embarking on the project throughWealth Nxtion, the wealth-building arm of the ministry.
Speaking withThe Guardianabout the project, he explained thatcreating a wealth-centric community where people would be empowered to create wealth waspart of the Wealth Nxtion agenda.
He revealed that he has spent over 17 years building communities and raising leaders in London, many of whom are Crypto traders, entrepreneurs and business owners in leading sectors such as e-commerce, logistics and beauty.
According to him, the beneficiaries had in turn provided mentorship to aspiring business owners through industry-specific communities of the wealth creation programme.
He added: “If God wants you to do something like heal someone of Malaria or help a million children to go to school, whatever the need, you are always able to say yes.”
Over the last six months, Adegboyega and Wealth Nxtion have given out N8m to 60 budding entrepreneurs and professionals with ideas spanning from farming, Cryptocurrency and fashion, among others.
During one of the live Wealth Nxtion pitches, two lucky winners from Nigeria and Zimbabwe were selected and paired with mentors to help take their businesses to the next level.
Speaking on the current quest to raise 100 millionaires by the end of the year, Adegbeyoga stated: “We are just starting. We will do more, and we will have created hundreds of millionaires by the end of the year. Let’s make ourcontinent great with wealth.”(The Guardian)
