Nigerian starlet Kelechi Iheanacho this evening exploded in England when he got a rare chance to feature for Manchester City in a Premiership League fixture against Crystal Palace. The 18 years old, who is Manchester City’s third-choice striker behind Sergio Aguero and Wilfried Bony, was on the pitch just 54 seconds before he scored with his second touch of the ball. It happened to be the only goal of the match and fetched City the full points at stake.
His only previous first-team appearance came as an 89th-minute substitute against Watford.
