Ex-Governor Ibrahim Idris
A former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, has commiserated with the government and people of Rivers State over the fire outbreak at a jetty that claimed some lives.
Idris in a message to Governor Nyesom Wike and people of Rivers State stated that the unfortunate event was a serious setback to the state and nation.
He also extended his unreserved condolences to the immediate families of the victims involved in the inferno, saying safety measures should be intensified in the Jetty.
He prayed for the souls of the deceased, while urging the state government not to be detered by the temporary setback, in his quest to bequeath good leadership in Rivers State.
