The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has announced that all NIN enrollment centres across the country will be operational at the weekend.
NIMC said on Friday, April 1, 2022 that the weekend registration is to enable persons yet to complete their NIN-SIM linkage as the enrollment officially closed yesterday, March 31, to do so.
NIMC said that weekend enrollment is open for Nigerians and legal residents to obtain their NIN within the time frame given by the Federal Government before the enforcement of the NIN-SIM linkage starts.
Meanwhile, Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Prof. Isa Ibrahim (Pantami), has urged those yet to finish the linkage process to take advantage of the weekend registration to ensure they obtain their NIN and complete the linkage process.
