The Ebonyi state government has approved the promotion of civil servants in the state.
The government also approved the payment of pension to all pensioners in the state with effect from March 22, 2022.
The statement commissioner for information and state orientation, Mr. Uchenna Orji, in a statement issued after the State Executive Council meeting, stated that the Governor directed that the promotion would cover 2019, 2020 and 2021.
The statement reads in part: “The Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency, Engr. Chief David Nweze Umahi FNSE, FNATE (Akubaraoha), has graciously approved the release of the promotion of Civil Servants for the year 2019, 2020 and 2021 to all deserving Civil Servants in the State.
“His Excellency the Governor has also approved the payment of Pension to all Pensioners in the State with effect from 22nd March, 2022.”
