Nigerian popstar, Davido, is apparently having a great year as his father, Adedeji Adeleke, just gifted him a piece of land in Banana Island, Lagos.

Banana Island is an artificial island off the foreshore of Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria which is exclusive to the super-rich.

The singer who claimed he made about $22.3 million last year recently had a sold-out show at the prestigious London O2 Arena with a 20,000 seating capacity.

Also, a few days ago, the singer announced that he gifted himself a new Mercedes Benz Maybach 2022 SUV worth about N171m, while a brand newLamborghini Aventador which he bought is yet to arrive the country.

Announcing the land gift from his father, the singer took to his verified Twitter account to thank and appreciate his father for the gift. The father of three further revealed that he would use the land to build something huge for his children.

The pop star who recently mentioned that he is obsessed with his kids tweeted, “Woke up to another Land from popsi in banana again! Such a dope father! Love u pops. I’m boutta build some crazy shit for the kids.”

This would be the singer’s second property the public is aware of as he announced in January that he had opened a house in Banana Island. The housewarming party was star-studded as the singer shared video snippets and pictures from the party via his social media pages.
