Oyi Congress Convener, Dr Chuma-Odili

The Convener, Oyi Congress, Dr. Harris Chuma-Odili, has said that the group was formed with the aim of contributing to the development of communities in Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State.
In a statement from the group on Thursday signed by him, Chuma-Odili said the organisation is a socio-political pressure group deeply concerned with the growth and rapid development of the communities, and towns in Oyi Local Government Area.
The statement stated the group is made up of “the common people and the political class”, who will meet together to deal with political and other issues.
“The Congress is non-partisan, everyone is invited to participate, irrespective of political party linings. It's time to redefine governance in Oyi. We know that many people who cannot live together cannot make progress. Getting together, planning, articulating, moving forward. It’s time for us to survive and progress,” Chuma-Odili said
