Nollywood star actor and film director, Ramsey Tokunbo Nouah Jr. has disclosed his major headache at the moment.

The son of an Israeli Jewish father and a Yoruba mother who hails from Owo, Ondo State on Monday did a throwback video showingwhen he travelled to Abidjan last December.

The light-skinned father of three (two boys and a girl) was in the former capital city of Cote d’Ivoire and the third biggest French speaking population anywhere in the world for the very first time in his life.

He was there to celebrate his 51stbirthday in style without his wife, Emelia and children.

On landing at the airport, he found it difficult to communicate in French. While walking to get a taxi to town, he met a lady and asked, “How do you say Abidjan is a beautiful city in French?”

The lady though recognized him but merely waved and passed, not being able to speak English.

Devastated Ramsey who made his directorial debut in 2019 with the film “Living in Bondage: Breaking Free” vowed there and then to take it as a challenge to learn and understand French.

“I must learn French by force by fire!” he said.
