Senator Nwaka with Eze Okey A Udeh during the sympathy visit
Frontline Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) aspirant for the 2023 Abia State governorship race, Senator Emma Nwaka, has paid a sympathy visit to HRH Eze Engr Okey A Udeh, Nkalu Ukwu of Umunnekwu Autonomous Community, Oguduasa, Isuikwuato, Abia State.
The former Abia PDP Chairman hurried to Eze Udeh’s palace at the weekend upon learning of the royal father was attacked by men in military uniform suspected to be armed robbers on Friday evening, January 28, 2022.
Eze Udeh miraculously survived the attack, which took place close to the military checkpoint at Abia State University (ABSU), Uturu, Isuikwuato.
Unfortunately, a confidant, Mr. Eli Okehi, who was sitting beside the Eze in front of the car, lost his life during the attack.
Senator Nwaka expressed shock over the incident, extending his sympathies to the revered traditional ruler and his condolences to the Okehi family of Oguduasa.
He appealed to security agencies to work harder to improve the security situation in Isuikwuato, especially in the ABSU axis.
