Diminutive Nollywood actress, director, fashionista and businesswoman, Mercy Aigbe was in high spirits on Monday January 24, 2022.

It was the birthday of her new husband, Kazim Adeoti, who is reportedly a bossom friend to her former husband, Lanre Gentry.

The 44 years old movie star, best known for her Yoruba indigenous movies, same day posted a photo she posed with the new man in her life on her Instagram page to further celebrate his birthday.

She called him “My King”. She also called him “My Peace”. And named him “My Happiness” as well.

And the Edo State-born actress wrote:

“Alhaji and Hajia Kazim Adeoti. Still celebrating you My King. May you continue to be celebrated all the days of your life.

“Thank you for being My Peace, My Happiness. May almighty Allah continue to bless your path and uplift you beyond your imaginations. Tonight we turn up.”

After her first marriage ended due to the purported interference of her mother inlaw, Mercy Aigbe in 2014, married a Nigerian hotelier, Lanre Gentry, and has two children (Juwon Gentry and Michelle Aigbe) together with three stepdaughters.

Three years into the second marriage, she shared photos of herself after allegedly being assaulted by her husband.

Lanre and Mercy parted ways after a tumultuous union, oftentimes leading to violence and public dramas. While Mercy accused Lanre of domestic violence, Lanre accused the actress of infidelity.

In reaction to Mercy Aigbe’s third marriage, the immediate past husband, Lanre Gentry posted a picture of himself, the actress and the new husband of the actress, to tell the world the man the actress just married used to be his bosom friend.

“At last I thank God the truth is out. This is just one out of many. Glory be to God,” he wrote.
