One of the top 5 African female show hosts, Toke Makinwa is very hopeful that the year 2022 will bring her a husband.

Recall that the 37 years old English and Literature graduate from the University of Lagos on January 15, 2014 married Maje Ayida.

She had been involved with him for eight years prior to their marriage.

Barely one year after, in 2015, she separated from Ayida after discovering that he had impregnated his ex-girlfriend. On October 5, 2017, Makinwa’s marriage to Ayida was dissolved by a Lagos High Court on the grounds that Ayida committed adultery.

But she is optimistic that this year will mark the end of her present status as a single lady.

During the week, Makinwa posted a video on the social media wishing her fans a Happy New Year. She captioned the video, “Somebody’s son must find me 22”.

Commenting further, the Lagos State-born hardworking lady who has hosted numerous notable events, including the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) beauty pageant, said:

“Happy New Year. In 2022 I will make it good. I’ll Find true love.”
