NASC Chairman Ahmed Kadi Amshi

National Assembly Service Commission (NASC) Chairman, Mr. Ahmed Kadi Amshi, has said that the new office accommodation for the Commission will solve the accommodation problem it has suffered for over two decades.
Amshi, who stated this during the recent foundation laying ceremony of its permanent site, stated that the over N11 billion project is expected to be completed in two years.
The NASC Chairman commended the 9th Assembly for the political will that led to the commencement of the project with an initial fund of N3 billion.
He described the occasion as historic and epoch-making event under his watch.
Mr. Amshi urged the National Assembly to also consider the balance of N10 billion required to complete the project in the 2022 budget, so as to enable it's commissioning within the time line.
He reassured the National Assembly of the capacity of the company in project execution overtime, saying it will go a long way to solve its lingering accommodation problems.
He said the project initial cost of N2.5billion in 2010 was reviewed in line with the prevailing market situations and introduction of new items into the project.
