BBNaija Season 6 Shine Ya Eyes star housemates White Money, Pere and Angel have all fallen sick in less than one week.

First to land in hospital was the winner himself, Hazel Oyeye Onou, popularly known as White Money. In a video shared on his Instagram story on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, the N90 million star prize winner was seen sleeping on a hospital bed with an intravenous drip being administered on him.

“Good morning. Break in transmission. We will be back shortly”, he wrote.

White Money, who won the N90 million Grand Prize of the show which ended on October 4, 2021, had been on media rounds since is victory, sharing his thoughts and plans with the public. Then came the sickness.

Two days later, one of the finalists, Pere Egbi, popularly known as Pere, similarly released an Instagram video which showed him lying on the bed with his hand connected to a drip bag in hospital fashion.

The caption in the video read: “Get well soon General.”

Pere was hospitalised a few hours after his fans surprised him with a cake, flowers and other items. In the video, the 35-year-old thanked his fans for their support.

“Wow Patriots I’m so emotional right now. Thank You,” he wrote.

Just as BBNaija fans were trying to digest the news of Pere’s sickness, another finalist,Angel Agnes Smith, on Friday joined the bandwagon of sick former housemates. A video of Angel which surfaced on social media showed a sleeping Angel in bed, covered up, receiving medical attention via a drip.

So what really is happening? Fans have been left wondering whether it is the burden of stardom, coincidence or publicity strategy.
