Netflix series, Squid Game, has become the most popular series ever.

Netflix announced this in a tweet on Wednesday.

"Squid game has officially reached 111 million fans — making it our biggest series launch ever!”

The series, which was released 17 days ago, has been seen by a total of 111 million Netflix subscribers.

Squid Game series has overtaken the Bridgerton series, which gained over 80 million views when it was released in December 2020. (Daily Trust)
